Lemony Fresh!

First of all, please forgive me for the super long radio silence. I was buried with papers, exams, happy family time and being selfish with my time. It felt really good! My first semester of grad school is officially over!
Hip Hip Hooray!

Also, I whipped these up for Mother's Day and thought you might want to do the same for a last-minute handmade gift.

Lemon Sugar & Salt Hand Scrub.

Spring & Summer Skirts

Skirts are ideal in the South Carolina summers. AND BONUS... They are great for teaching. I know I am going to get tired of dress pants. I've been seeing this full skirt circa 1950s and again in the 1970s trend... what do you think of the full skirt?

UPDATE: My darling husband Eric just read this post and said, "I think those skirts are so sexy. You would look so good in them. I mean, not to infer anything about the 1950's housewife but, they are beautiful".

MUST SHOP NOW! Is anything open?

When I grow up...

I want to be a quilter.

These are gorgeous, can someone really teach me how to quilt. I mean, I know how to sew but the binding and the getting it perfectly square and not bunchy... I need help with those parts.
